This is a concept drawing from the children's book that I've written...though the scene doesn't appear in the story at all and it certainly won't have speech bubbles and thought balloons, I was just playing with the look of it is all.
I *think* I want to illustrate the book in vectors...but my "to be done in vectors in-tray" keeps piling up. It's frustrating because I like the finished results but still find Illustrator a bit of a pig to work with. Anyway...I wanted to at least post something from the Stupid Monkeys stuff I've done even if it won't fully represent the finished material, and inking and colouring like this is quick and easy...never underestimate the benefits of quick and easy when it comes to productivity... And truth be told productivity is at times more important than quality... |

but i would have finished illustrating it by now if i hadn't decided it would look best as a vector illustration...
now i'm locked in procrastination as i try to build up my confidence and comfort using Illustrator...in order to do it justice...
